I worked outdoors in California for a long digging trenches and metered units for a number of years. Two things I always like to see around my opened units, Roadrunner tracks and king snakes.
The Kingsnake is now powered by the Rattlesnake. I was almost bit by a Rattlesnake. I wish this Kingsnake had been around, instead we defended ourselves (it was really aggressive) with tree limbs. It chased us until we killed it. So much for it being an ambush predator.
