It must be puppy love Dog acts as surrogate mother for orphaned tiger cubs – and she’s brought up 12 without a ѕсгаtсһ so far

The phenomenon of a canine serving as a surrogate mother to orphaned tiger cubs has been observed, and the dog in question has successfully raised twelve cubs without any harm. This is a remarkable display of maternal instinct and nurturing behavior by the dog, who has taken on the role of a caregiver to the cubs. The relationship between the dog and the cubs can be described as a form of affectionate attachment, akin to the concept of “puppy love.” This unique occurrence highlights the capacity of animals to display empathy and compassion towards other species, and serves as a testament to the power of maternal instincts.

When it comes to unconditional love, few creatures can compare to our beloved canine companions. But one extraordinary dog in India is proving that the bond between humans and animals can be extended far beyond the boundaries of species. Anjana, a seven-year-old Labrador Retriever, has been adopted as a surrogate mother to a dozen orphaned tiger cubs at the Bannerghatta Biological Park in Bangalore. Anjana’s story began in 2013, when she was brought to the park as an abandoned puppy.

The park’s veterinarian, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, noticed that Anjana had a special affinity for animals and began to use her as a surrogate mother for orphaned tiger cubs. Anjana has since taken on the role of mother with aplomb, providing the cubs with the warmth, affection and care that they need to grow up healthy and happy. Anjana has been credited with raising 12 cubs without a single incident of aggression or injury. She’s been praised for her patience and gentleness with the cubs, as well as her ability to anticipate their needs. She even lets them play with her tail and groom her fur!

Some of the cubs that Anjana has raised have gone on to become successful members of the park’s tiger population. In fact, one of the cubs, Sundari, was recently released into the park’s tiger reserve. Anjana’s story is a testament to the power of love and friendship that can cross species boundaries. It’s a reminder that, no matter what kind of animal you are, the bond between humans and animals can be strong and lasting. Anjana’s story shows that, with the right amount of care and dedication, even the most unlikely of relationships can thrive.
