Baby tiger and lion cubs become the best of friends at Russian zoo

At the Oktiabrski resort in Sochi, Russia, a four-month-old tiger cub and a three-and-a-half-month-old lion cub have become attached. Nothing makes Smurfik and its younger friend Eva happier than to spend time eating, sleeping, and having fun together. Their behavior, according to manager Olga Zaskavskaya, is “perfect.” They are aware of what is and isn’t permitted. Their friendship will not, however, endure. The two will be divided and placed in various, larger enclosures in two months. After that, Smurfik might be sent to a zoo in Moscow or Ekaterinburg.
