Orcas, or k.i.ller whales, are the largest of the dolphins and one of the world’s most powerful predators. They’re immediately recognizable by their distinctive black-and-white coloring. Smart and social, orcas make a wide variety of communicative sounds, and each pod has distinctive noises that its members will recognize even at a distance. They use echolocation to communicate and hunt, making sounds that travel underwater until they encounter objects, then bounce back, revealing their location, size, and shape.
Hard to watch but it’s the circle of life…the worst part for me is the mom is right there and cant do anything about it.
I know this is part of the circle of life but this is the most heartbreaking video I’ve ever watched of a baby whale being attacked and taken away from its mother then k.i.lled. My heart goes out to all the animals in this world. The fight to live another day goes on for predator and for prey!
