Leopard attacks neighbours dog at my Home
The scariest part of this video is how long the leopard was standing there staring at the dog. The dog didn’t even sense the leopard’s presence. Leopards are true hunters. The element of surprise is everything, especially when your prey is bigger than you, or as big as you.
The dog is very much alive. His name is Jackie. Jackie survived the attack because it didn’t let the leopard b.i.t.e its n.e.c.k or face, but she received some d.e.ep wou.nds.
And speaking of it being outside his own house, Jackie was not sleeping outside the house of his owner. In fact, he was half a kilometer away from his home, sleeping outside the house of his owner’s relative. Though the owner has a dog house, Jackie is seldom kept chained since he loves to wander around the locality.
The leopard staring at the dog that way disturbed me more than the final attack. The way the leopard kept staring at the dog looks straight out of paranormal activity movies.
With everything else that’s been said, it’s also impressive how the leopard’s awareness remained so keen that he sensed the approaching humans and quickly moved his prey just before they opened the door.
