Wildlife Medics – Speared Elephant Rescue – Kenya
An elephant with a spear wound on the side of its stomach was reported to the mobile veterinary unit at a national park in Kenya.
This film shows the cooperation between the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Kenya Wildlife Service working together to treat the wounded elephant. The emergency intervention was done in good time and the elephant’s life was saved.
Some people are God-like, relieving others’ pain, while others are demons, inflicting pain on others.This is what the world is made of.
It is a simple case of poaching for ivory. The culprits should be brought to book. The poor elephant is lucky. Thanks to the channel, veterinary doctors and the forest department not leaving the enlightened inhabitants.
