The Taiwan Yuhina, scientifically known as Yuhina brunneiceps, is a small passerine bird species endemic to Taiwan. It is a member of the family Zosteropidae and is characterized by its distinctive brown cap and white underparts. The Taiwan Yuhina inhabits subtropical and tropical montane forests, where it feeds on insects and small fruits. Due to habitat loss and fragmentation, the species is considered vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Conservation efforts are underway to protect the Taiwan Yuhina and its habitat, including the establishment of protected areas and reforestation projects.
