She’s also stunning. Cats are extremely intelligent. A similar thing happened to me many years ago. I was living in a student housing complex near a university. A lovely Siamese began to pay me visits. She was clearly expecting a child.
I was worried about her and decided to bring her inside my place the next time I saw her. She was really kind and friendly. She had her pups under my bed not long after that.
When I relocated them into a closet with a bed I constructed for her, she trusted me. Everything went according to plan. I named her Jasmine and brought her with me when I finally moved out. Kittens were adopted.
Since I was six years old, mama cats have been bringing me their kittens. More than once, I’ve caught mama cats leaving my yard so the kittens would stay with me. I consider myself fortunate to have been picked. You’re going to keep looking after her.
In my home office, a stray mother gave birth to four babies. All of the newborns were placed in loving homes through private shelters. I took Mom down to get her spayed and put up for adoption.
I dropped her off, drove home, then circled back to wait for “Precious” to emerge from the surgical recovery area. She lived with me for the following eight years and four months until it was time for her to leave. What a wonderful gift.
