A gorgeous puppy was observed sleeping by a rod on a construction site by neighbors. When they got closer, they discovered that the rod had punctured her thigh and she had been impaled. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t break free. They called Animal Aid for help, and we were able to immediately arrange for workers with an electric metal saw to arrive.

We soothed the terrified dog while the rod was cut and we were able to liberate her.

We were able to clean, bandage, and protect her with medications because no bones had shattered in her incision. She needed more love to find the bravery she needed to heal after her tragedy.

Animal Aid’s videos always make me cry twice; once in the beginning out of heartbreak and again in the end out of happiness. I get to experience tears of sadness and joy in a span of few minutes. Thankyou, Animal Aid for standing beside these voiceless angels.
