Sparrowhawk caught pigeon in garden

It’s a dove. It’s not heartless to observe and share nature. Without hawks and coyotes, some birds would overpopulate and crowd out other species. Disease could take hold in flocks and be spread to other species. Nature is about balance & that includes thinning the flocks & herds of weaker & sick individuals. What’s heartless and harmful is letting your pussycat out every day to decimate wild birds when they don’t even need the food.
