Rescued Puma can’t be released into wild so he lives as a spoiled House Cat!

We’ve all heard stories of animals being rescued and released back into the wild, but one puma’s story is a little different. The puma, named Bob, was rescued in 2018 by a wildlife rescue organization in Colorado. He was found near a ski resort in very poor health and was taken to a rehabilitation center. After months of care and rehabilitation, Bob was deemed healthy enough to be released back into the wild, but that’s when things took an unexpected turn.

When the team at the rehabilitation center tried to release Bob, he was too comfortable with humans and refused to leave. He wasn’t scared of humans and didn’t seem to understand the concept of returning to the wild. After much consideration, the decision was made to keep Bob at the rehabilitation center. Bob now lives a life of luxury at the center, where he receives plenty of love and attention from the staff and volunteers. He spends his days lounging in the sun and enjoys regular brushing sessions. He has also become a bit of a celebrity, with many visitors coming to the center just to see him. While Bob can’t be released back into the wild, he is living a very comfortable life as a spoiled house cat. He’s a reminder of the importance of respecting and protecting wildlife, and of the amazing things that can happen when humans and animals come together.
