A group of villagers came to the rescue of a goat that was on its way to becoming the lunch of a hungry python in northern India. The python had already wound itself tightly around the goat and appeared ready to eat the animal. But the goat didn’t give up; it kept fighting for 40 minutes until its owner and passersby came to the cattle’s rescue.
As their initial attempts to scare the snake away fail, frantic villagers, some carrying cricket bats and others large tree branches, can be heard wailing.
Eventually, one of the men steps in to help the goat after the fellow locals were unable to shoo the snake away. The man whacks the python on the head with a large tree branch in a crushing blow.
