My Friend with Diprosopus (Two Faces)

When I first met my friend, I was in shock. She had something that I had never seen before, something I had only heard of in myths and legends: two faces. My friend has a condition known as diprosopus, or craniofacial duplication. This condition is extremely rare, and there are only a handful of known cases of it in the world. My friend has two faces that are nearly identical, but slightly different in shape and size. Her eyes are the same size and shape, but one is slightly higher than the other. Her mouth is slightly different as well, with one side slightly lower than the other.

Despite having two faces, my friend is incredibly kind and compassionate. She loves to laugh and joke around, and she’s always willing to lend a helping hand. She doesn’t let her condition define her, and she’s determined to live her life to the fullest. I’ve learned so much from my friend and her condition. I’ve realized that beauty is more than skin deep, and that we should always treat people with kindness and respect, no matter what they look like. My friend has taught me that it’s important to be open-minded and accepting of differences.

My friend with diprosopus is an inspiration to me. She has shown me that it’s important to look beyond appearances, and to judge people by their character and personality instead. I’m so grateful to have such an amazing friend in my life.
