Her name is Jiya Mahajan, and this seven-year-old girl has been an inspiration for many around the world, showing that even with physical disabilities, nothing can stop you from pursuing your dreams. When Jiya was born, she was diagnosed with Amniotic Band Syndrome (ABS), a rare congenital disorder that occurs when the unborn baby becomes entangled in fibrous amniotic bands in the womb and loses limbs or other body parts as a result. She has learned to use her elbows and chin to perform activities such as painting, typing and writing. She has also been able to learn how to use a computer and is currently studying in a special school.
