Family Warthog was trying to protect the other piglets from being left alone and/or rushing back into danger with the parent warthog if a rescue attempt was undertaken, not to free its kidnapped piglet (of which it easily could have). They frequently go where their parents or guardians do.

However, why is there a picture of a bald eagle next to a young warthog? I don’t think Bald Eagles are native to Africa; it was vicious of the eagle to drag that warthog across the path with one talon.
