Heroic Canine, Buddy, Risks All in Harrowing Rescue of Tiny Kitten from Python’s Grip

Lakewood, FL – A tranquil Tuesday afternoon in a Lakewood backyard was shattered by a frantic bark and a terrifying sight, as a loyal family dog named Buddy performed an act of incredible bravery, risking his own life to save a defenseless baby kitten from the coils of a preying python. The dramatic confrontation, witnessed by the pets’ owner, has left the community in awe of Buddy’s courage.

The incident unfolded in Sarah Chen’s backyard, a familiar play area for her energetic Labrador-mix, Buddy, and her newest, tiny addition – a fluffy, ginger kitten named Pip, barely a few weeks old.
