Imagine if mantises were as large as elephants, the world would be the … place to live, When I was in grade 4, I found a preying mantis on an extremely windy day on the playground of the community center.
I didn’t feel it belonged in the playground and gently got it to crawl on my bare hand, I used my free hand to block the wind as best I could and it held onto my finger with it’s claws.
I got it safely to a field of long grass and let it go, Never even tried to hurt me, Will never forget that encounter.
