I Was Born Without Arms – But Still Found True Love

When I was born, I was born without arms, and it was a shock to my family and the medical team. My parents wanted to do their best to give me a normal life, so I grew up being able to do many things despite my disability. I learned to use my feet to do everything from brushing my teeth, to tying my shoes, to holding a fork and spoon. I also learned to be independent, and to never give up on my dreams.

Growing up, I was never really worried about finding someone to love me. I just wanted to find someone who would accept me for who I am, and not just what I looked like. That’s why when I met my husband, I was so excited. He was the first person who really looked past my disability and saw me as an individual.

My husband and I have been married now for almost three years. We have two beautiful children, and we couldn’t be happier. I’m so thankful that my husband was willing to look past my disability and see me for who I am. He has been incredibly supportive and understanding throughout our relationship, and I know that I couldn’t have found anyone better.

I’ve learned that love is truly blind. You don’t have to look a certain way in order to find true love. It’s about finding someone who is willing to accept you for who you are, and to support you no matter what. In the end, that’s all that really matters.
