This is the incredible moment a cobra and a monitor lizard were captured in the middle of a road in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.
From a car just a few meters away, an astonished safari photographer photographed the incident.
The snouted cobra is a highly poisonous snake native to Southern Africa with neurotoxic venom, They are primarily nocturnal, but as seen in this encounter, they may also be found during the day.
βIn April of this year, I was on a solo vacation to Kruger while my husband went climbing,β said photographer Helen Young, As soon as the gates opened, I left Shingwedzi camp and proceeded down to Letaba.
I came upon an odd-looking object in the distance not far down the road that I couldn’t figure out what it was, I approached gently and was astounded to see a huge cobra (the consensus is a snouted cobra) battling a giant monitor lizard.β, Thank you for like and share.
