Baby Seal Who Was Orphaned Misses Her Mother and Has a Cute Way to Say It

The executive director of Seal Rescue Ireland was Melanie. A worker at an aquaculture farm called her one day to let her know that a juvenile seal named Ili Pika had become stranded on top of an oyster trestle bed. Because of the large machinery nearby, the mother seal was unable to save the baby.

The baby seal was therefore saved and transported to the Seal Rescue Care Center. She was constantly searching for her mother and sucking on the glass window enclosure, as any baby seal would do. They got the milk in this way. Ili Pika missed her mother, and this was a symbol of it. Her babysitter, Hayleigh, gave her a wetsuit as a result.
