Tiny newborn lion cubs, Serengeti

Whilst on safari with a family in the northern Serengeti, we were incredibly fortunate to find a female lion with tiny, brand new baby lion cubs. They were days old, with eyes barely open – you can still see the staining underneath the mothers tail from the birth.

To see lion cubs this small is exceptionally rare, and to have such an incredible view made it all the more amazing. We felt enormous gratitude towards the beautiful, gentle lioness for allowing us to intrude in her private family time. We were very blessed that day!

That was beautiful, loved the one who climbed over mummy, landed on her littermates head! Cuteness overload! Thank You for sharing this beautiful sight!
