Three newborn cheetahs playing with their mother

The birth of three baby cheetah cubs is proudly announced by the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. On October 12, 2013, one male and two female puppies were born in the litter. Everyone seems to be in terrific health.

Gracie, a first-time mother, has shown herself to be an expert caregiver. Bruce, an 8-year-old boy who was born and nurtured by hand at Fossil Rim, is the father. The animal care crew is pleasantly pleased by his capacity to procreate; this is unusual for hand-raised males. This was his first litter of cubs. Due to illness, Bruce and his brother Moose were taken from their mother when they were very little.
