Jaguar Catches and Kills Crocodile Underwater

Anyone who heads on the Jaguar Safari hopes to see Jaguars in action, but this sighting has to be right up there! The jaguar spotted the caiman and made its approach, managing to grab a hold of the caiman underwater, and secure its grip. The caiman was by no means done, and put up quite a good fight. The strength of the jaguar’s jaws coupled with its swimming abilities eventually won the battle. What a sighting!

Of all the big cats, Jaguars are the most fscinating to me. They have a bite force superior to other big cats. They’re often thought to be Leopards, but are more heavily bodied and live in an entirely different region of the world, in an entirely different environment.
