Feeding a Reticulated Python | Secrets of the Zoo: Down Under.

This Reticulated Python at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, hasn’t fed in six months, The snake’s keepers are preparing to feed her a defrosted pig, which will keep her alive for another six months.

Wow, I had no idea they moved their windpipes away, but I’ve always wondered how they were able to breathe while eating something that massive!

I admire how impassioned this man is; you can see he’s genuinely concerned about the welfare of these creatures, People like him are desperately needed!

Although I am not a great lover of snakes, it is comforting to know that she will be protected for another 6 months.

That’s probably the closest I’ll get to seeing a real python around its victim, It’s something I’ve never seen in person, Thank you for like and share.
