Myakka River State Park – 200 Alligators at The Deep Hole

This is an awesome video! I enjoyed it from start to finish. Thank you for posting it. What a hidden treasure this place is! I love alligators and this would be the ultimate alligator viewing area. I also loved seeing the coyote.

Great video!! From where the birdwalk begins, at sunrise there was a red shouldered hawk or could’ve been a red kestrel – not sure which one was on the right side where the birdwalk starts and was gliding above the green growing grass and darting straight down into the grass to h.unt. It would come back out and keep flying over. It was beautiful to see.

If you swim here, stay at least one foot away from alligators for your own protection. If you feel an alligator b.i.t.i.n.g you, you are closer than a foot, and need slowly back away to maintain a safe distance.
