Leopard Walks Amongst People in Restaurant
You might run meet a celebrity or two when dining in a Hollywood restaurant. In South Africa, you might come see a leopard in a restaurant.
The exciting moment a leopard entered a lodge’s restaurant and moved among the customers in pursuit of a huge antelope it had been tracking is captured in this stunning footage.
Erika Wiese, 39, captured this encounter while staying at Singita Ebony Lodge.
“Earlier in the day, the leopard was spotted stalking a bushbuck in the riverbank in front of the lodge. We were able to remain calm, silent, and in awe of the majestic creature that was so close to us because Singita’s staff is well-trained to deal with encounters of this nature and has stringent safety standards in place to safeguard the safety of both employees and visitors in these situations,” Wiese added.
The leopard saunters out in pursuit of its v.ictim after an exciting few minutes.

Leopards are large cats that weigh between 60 and 100 pounds for adult females and 80 to 150 pounds for adult males. They can be found in Sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China, and are the most extensively distributed of all wild cats.
Leopards prefer medium-sized prey, such as bushbucks, but they can also k.ill large animals. One is said to have k.illed an almost 2,000-pound eland.
