Dramatic Rescue Of An Elephant Stuck In Mud
After this juvenile elephant in Kenya slipped into a mud pit, everything turned out well in the end.
This is the moment in time when a brave rescue effort by a digger freed the enormous creature from trouble after it had been in the dank trench for up to 12 hours.
In Southern Kenya, close to Makindu, local farmers were horrified to see a distraught male elephant urgently trying to escape from a deep mud pit. This led to the heartbreaking rescue.
Wildlife activists sought the support of a brave construction business when they were unable to assist the enormous beast in climbing the steep clay walls. The company’s digger was utilized to plough the elephant to safety.
